Sam's Variations on Gin & Tonic

Sam is quite a fan of gin & tonic, especially during the summer. Here are 3 ways he likes his, one of which is gin free! He would like to say that these suggestions are in no way advertising for the brands he mentions, simply his honest preferences when it comes to the important subject of gin and tonic!

Malfy's Gin Rosa with grapefruit & rosemary

This pink gin from Malfy is Sam's all time favourite - it's a pink grapefruit based gin (you can normally find it in Sainsbury's) and is absolutely delicious with Fever Tree tonic. Perfect with a sprig of rosemary and a slice of grapefruit. Sam says it needs to be served in "one of those fishbowl glasses" for maximum effect.

Classic London gin with crushed blackberry, cucumber and lots of ice

If you're being a bit cheeky and having a G&T earlier in the day, then this is Sam's suggestion... crush a few freshly picked blackberries (it won't be long now) in the bottom of a glass, add a splash of classic gin, plenty of ice, the tonic water and a couple of thin cucumber slices. Fruity and delicious.

With a shot of Seedlip botanical non-alcoholic spirits instead of gin

Seedlip's Spice 94 is Sam's preferred option from their crafty range of non-alcoholic spirits. It's a brilliant non-alcoholic alternative and tastes delicious. Serve with a slice of grapefruit and lots of ice.
