We almost called this new table the "Skinny Farmhouse Table" to reflect its more slender appearance, but in the end we went with "French Farmhouse Table" because it really is classically French in style. The solid prime oak top is 25mm thick, so slightly thinner than the 40mm tops on our other tables, and we've given it a longer overhang too, which is in keeping with the traditional French style.
The Table base can be painted in any colour along with a choice of fixed or detachable legs. The legs are slimmer too, measuring 88mm wide (as opposed to 115mm as per our other tables), again in keeping with the French style.
All in all, it's a really elegant table that will work so well in a country style kitchen, whether contemporary or traditional. We're looking forward to getting the first few orders made and painted up...watch this space for pics!
