Last night, one of our farmhouse tables made an appearance on George Clarke's Old House New Home. It was an exciting moment for us, seeing one of our creations play a starring role in transforming someone's home, and knowing that it will be there for years to come!
It was also comforting to hear George Clarke speak of kitchen tables so fondly. He's completely right when he says that "the kitchen is the heart of any home, and that the table is the heart of the kitchen". So really, the kitchen table is the most important thing in the house. As he says, it plays an important role in our lives; it's the place where the children do their homework, it's where friends listen to each other offloading over a cup of tea (or a bottle of wine), it's where many a fun meal is enjoyed and sometimes it's an office. Well, we always knew they were special!
